A Bali 5.4 luxury catamaran. Your private island-hopping retreat through the British Virgin Islands.
About the Yacht
Ne Plus Ultra is a Bali 5.4 luxury catamaran — a spacious, open-concept design built by the Catana Group. Her signature feature is a fold-down aft “garage door” transom that merges the cockpit and salon into one continuous indoor-outdoor living space, ideal for entertaining, dining, and watching the sunset with a drink in hand.
Below, six en-suite cabins give everyone aboard a private corner of their own. Above, the flybridge lounge looks out over the whole anchorage. She is stable, quiet, air conditioned and shallow enough to slip into the bays the big boats skip.
Twin-hull stability, minimal heel underway, and a shallow draft for secluded anchorages.
The fold-down aft transom opens the salon straight into the cockpit — one continuous social space for dining, lounging and sunsets.
Every cabin has its own head, so couples and families travel together without giving up privacy.
Helm station and panoramic seating above deck — the best seat in the British Virgin Islands.
Minimal heel underway and a level, quiet platform at anchor. Easy on first-time sailors.
A 1.48 m draft opens up secluded anchorages the larger monohulls have to admire from afar.
An onboard watermaker plus full A/C and generator mean long showers and cool cabins all week.
Paddleboards and snorkel gear ready at the stern whenever the water calls.
A separate crew cabin keeps every guest area exactly that — yours.
Your Crew
Ne Plus Ultra charters fully captained. Your captain handles navigation, mooring, weather calls and every piece of logistics — where to be for the best snorkelling, which bay will be calm tonight, how to time The Baths before the crowds.
A professional chef is available to hire for the full all-inclusive experience: provisioning, meal planning around your dietary preferences, and breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks prepared aboard each day.
This isn’t just a boat charter — it’s a floating boutique retreat where someone else navigates, docks, provisions, cooks, and cleans, so you can simply enjoy the islands.
The BVI Experience
Mornings begin slowly. Coffee on the aft deck, the water so clear you can count the links of the anchor chain, and no schedule waiting for you ashore. Someone has already checked the forecast and knows where the wind will be kind today.
The British Virgin Islands are made for this: a tight cluster of green hills and turquoise channels where the next anchorage is rarely more than an hour or two away. You sail short, easy passages under steady trade winds, then swim, snorkel, paddleboard, nap in the shade of the flybridge, and go ashore for lobster and live music when the mood takes you.
Afternoons drift. Cushions on the foredeck, a book, water toys, and cold drinks appearing without anyone asking. Evenings settle around the cockpit table with the transom open to the sea and the sky going gold behind the hills.
There is nothing to arrange, nothing to carry, no keys, no queues, no packing between hotels. The yacht simply moves with you — a private, comfortable base that wakes up each morning somewhere more beautiful than the last.
Where You’ll Go
Pirate’s Bight for a first-night mooring and a rum punch ashore, the notorious Willy T floating bar just across the water, and The Caves — a snorkel through shafts of light and clouds of silversides.
House-sized granite boulders piled into grottoes and tide pools, with sunlight cutting through the gaps. Go early, before the day boats, and swim in from the yacht.
A wide, protected anchorage ringed by reefs and resorts. Steady trade winds make it the island group’s kiteboarding and dinghy-sailing playground.
The flat coral island beyond the barrier reef — miles of empty sand, and grilled lobster on the beach as the sun drops behind the dunes.
A palm-lined crescent of beach with easygoing bars, live music drifting over the water and one of the friendliest evenings in the BVI.
Swim ashore at the Soggy Dollar Bar, birthplace of the Painkiller, then wander down to Foxy’s — legendary for its full-moon and New Year’s parties.
Two uninhabited specks of white sand and palm, close enough to reach by dinghy and quiet enough to feel like a private picnic island.
